Our Services

vehicle

When something goes wrong, like your check engine light comes on or you hear an unusual sound from underneath the hood, a car diagnostic test can determine if your vehicle has issues with its engine, exhaust, transmission, ignition coils, oil tank or throttle. Once accurately diagnosed using specialist diagnostic tools, the problem can then be repaired.

steering

If you’re struggling to steer your car, chances are your power steering has an issue. There are two types of systems: The hydraulic systems, which may need to be checked for fluid levels and any leaks. As the fluid of a hydraulic steering system operates under high pressure, any leaks can severely limit the functionality of the steering. And second, the fully electric systems. Here problems can occur due to the wearing of parts such as the electrical wiring, a broken motor, sensors failing and failure of the steering gear.

suspension

Are you experiencing an uncomfortable ride? A quick fix may only require adjustments to your suspension system. While a more serious problem may require your car’s shock absorbers to be replaced.

brakes

Good working brakes are essential. If you feel your vehicle isn’t stopping as quickly as normal, you may have worn brake pads which will need to be replaced. Brake pads generally need to be replaced anywhere between 30,000 and 100,000 klms, depending on your driving habits and the type of brake pads you use.

log

A log book service will ensure that your vehicle is operating safely and economically while maintaining the manufacturer’s statutory warranty. If something happens to your vehicle that is covered under warranty, you will need to prove that you have completed the required logbook servicing or the dealer can refuse to pay for repairs. If your vehicle has been well maintained it will assist in achieving a higher resale price. Regular maintenance will help to extend the life of your vehicle and cut down on future repair costs.

lpg

An LPG car or vehicle is LPG powered. It doesn’t use petrol or diesel. LPG vehicles can be LPG cars straight from the factory, or they can be LPG vehicle conversions. They require specialist repairs and servicing which Rego’s & More can carry out.

epa

The Environment Protection Authority (EPA) has a compliance and enforcement program in place to minimise noisy vehicles operating on NSW roads. Under the scheme, vehicles reported to the EPA as being excessively noisy may be issued with a Notice to have the vehicle tested. If an owner fails to comply with the requirements of an inspection notice, the EPA may suspend the vehicle’s registration. Rego’s & More can carry out noise testing and ensure your vehicle meets EPA standards.

bat

A car battery will usually last between three and five years. Most manufacturers recommend a replacement schedule of five years. A battery’s main purpose is to provide an electric current to the electric-powered starting motor, which in turn starts the chemically-powered internal combustion engine that propels the vehicle. Our mechanics can supply you with a new quality battery if required.

air

Especially in those hot Summer months or cold Winter days. The most common causes of broken air conditioning are leaks or compressor issues. If your air is blowing cool but not cold, the problem could be a clogged filter, cooling fan problem, radiator trouble, or it could simply be that you need to recharge your AC.
